I create animal sculptures using discarded materials, clay, and metal wire.

My artistic journey began with a dream, an image of a bulldog in metal, fully formed in my mind, waiting to be brought to life. I woke up in the middle of the night and started creating. I had no formal training, no knowledge of materials, just an instinct to shape what I saw.

Those early works were rough, imperfect, but they carried something raw and real. A voice. A force. A need to share my sculptures with the world. I had no preconception of what to do. Through constant experimentation I have developed a distinct style that fuses industry with nature, metal with clay, fantasy with reality. I embrace the unpredictability of my materials, allowing them to guide me.

I wanted a name that reflected this process, intuitive, untamed, sculpting from raw inspiration. And so RawSculptor was born.

I scoured city streets for scrap metal, collected tools, and tested techniques. I learned by doing, without rules or limits, only a vision and the drive to create.

Somewhere along the way, with torn cuticles from work with metal wire and fingers cramping from kneading clay,

I realized I had found my true form of expression.

Life is in constant motion, always evolving. My sculptures exist within that rhythm, capturing the tension between destruction and creation, stillness and movement.

My name is Kristian Saapunki, but they call me Raw Sculptor.
